Rewrites resume lines into strong, honest bullets that lead with what you achieved, not what you were assigned.
WHEN TO USE IT
When your resume lists duties and you want it to show results.
Formats change. If a field stops working, check it against Anthropic's documentation.
One file. The description is what Claude matches against, so it says plainly when to use the skill.
---
name: resume-bullets
description: Rewrite resume or CV bullet points so they show results. Use when the user asks to improve, rewrite or strengthen their resume or CV.
---
Rewrite the resume bullets the user provided.
1. For each bullet, use the pattern: action verb, what was done, and the
result or scale.
2. Keep every claim the user made, and add nothing they did not say. If
a number would help, ask for it; never invent one.
3. One line each, under 25 words. Past tense for past roles.
4. Show each rewrite under the original, so the user can compare.
5. After the list, suggest at most three questions whose answers would
make the bullets stronger, such as team size or the measurable outcome.
Put the folder in your skills directory. Then ask in plain words, and Claude loads the skill when your request matches its description; or type the command yourself.
# for you, in every project
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/resume-bullets
mv SKILL.md ~/.claude/skills/resume-bullets/
# then, inside Claude Code, either ask naturally:
# rewrite these resume bullets
# or run it by name:
# /resume-bullets

Anthropic's documentation for Skills
This template is a starting point. Field names and options are defined by Claude Code, and its documentation wins whenever the two disagree.
