Plan a short investor or partner pitch slide by slide, with a headline and talking points for each slide.
WHEN TO USE IT
When you are preparing a pitch and need to decide what goes on each slide.
Formats change. If a field stops working, check it against Anthropic's documentation.
One file. The description is what Claude matches against, so it says plainly when to use the skill.
---
name: pitch-deck-outline
description: Outline a pitch deck slide by slide with a headline and talking points for each. Use when the user asks for a pitch deck, an investor presentation outline or help planning a pitch.
---
Outline a pitch deck for the user.
1. If the essential details are missing (the business, the audience such as investors or partners, what is being asked for, and time available), ask once, in one message, then continue.
2. Plan ten to twelve slides. For each give:
- Slide number and title
- A one-line headline that states the point, not the topic
- Two or three talking points
3. A typical order: problem, solution, customer, market, product, business model, traction, competition, team, plan and ask. Adjust to the user's stage.
4. End with "Evidence you will need" listing every claim that needs a figure or proof.
Rules:
- Do not invent traction, revenue, market size or team credentials; write [your figure] or [check].
- Keep slide text short; detail belongs in the talking points.
- This is not investment or legal advice.
Put the folder in your skills directory. Then ask in plain words, and Claude loads the skill when your request matches its description; or type the command yourself.
# for you, in every project
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/pitch-deck-outline
mv SKILL.md ~/.claude/skills/pitch-deck-outline/
# then, inside Claude Code, either ask naturally:
# outline a pitch deck for my seed round
# or run it by name:
# /pitch-deck-outline

Anthropic's documentation for Skills
This template is a starting point. Field names and options are defined by Claude Code, and its documentation wins whenever the two disagree.
