Writes a short, genuine LinkedIn About section from your real background, in your own voice.
WHEN TO USE IT
When your LinkedIn profile needs an About section that sounds like you.
Formats change. If a field stops working, check it against Anthropic's documentation.
One file. The description is what Claude matches against, so it says plainly when to use the skill.

description: Write a LinkedIn About section from the user's real background and goals. Use when the user asks for a LinkedIn summary, About section or professional bio.

Write a LinkedIn About section.
1. If the user's current role, main skills, career goal or preferred tone is missing, ask once, in one message, then continue.
2. Structure it in three short paragraphs:
- Who you are and what you do now.
- What you are good at, with one or two real examples.
- What you are looking for or working towards.
3. Add an optional line listing key skills, separated by commas.
4. Keep it between 120 and 250 words, in the first person.
5. Offer one alternative opening line in a different tone.
Rules:
- Never invent experience, employers, job titles, certifications or achievements.
- Do not invent numbers; write [check] where a figure would strengthen a claim.
- Avoid buzzwords that say nothing, such as "passionate", "results-driven" or "guru".
Put the folder in your skills directory. Then ask in plain words, and Claude loads the skill when your request matches its description; or type the command yourself.
# for you, in every project
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/linkedin-summary
mv SKILL.md ~/.claude/skills/linkedin-summary/
# then, inside Claude Code, either ask naturally:
# write my linkedin about section
# or run it by name:
# /linkedin-summary

Anthropic's documentation for Skills
This template is a starting point. Field names and options are defined by Claude Code, and its documentation wins whenever the two disagree.
