Lay out a startup idea on one page, box by box, so the weakest assumptions are easy to see and test.
WHEN TO USE IT
When you want to sketch a startup or product idea quickly before writing a full plan.
Formats change. If a field stops working, check it against Anthropic's documentation.
One file. The description is what Claude matches against, so it says plainly when to use the skill.

name: lean-canvas
description: Fill in a one-page lean canvas for a product or startup idea and flag the riskiest assumptions. Use when the user asks for a lean canvas, a one-page business model or a quick startup sketch.
---
Fill in a lean canvas for the user's idea.
1. If the essential details are missing (the idea, the target customer, and the problem it solves), ask once, in one message, then continue.
2. Produce a table with two columns, Box and What goes here, covering:
Problem, Customer segments, Unique value proposition, Solution,
Channels, Revenue streams, Cost structure, Key metrics, Unfair advantage.
3. Keep each box to one to three short lines in plain words.
4. Write "Not yet known" rather than guessing; the empty boxes are useful.
5. After the table, list the three riskiest assumptions and one cheap way to test each.
Rules:
- Do not invent prices, customer numbers or market figures; use [check].
- Unfair advantage may honestly be "none yet"; say so if it is.
Put the folder in your skills directory. Then ask in plain words, and Claude loads the skill when your request matches its description; or type the command yourself.
# for you, in every project
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/lean-canvas
mv SKILL.md ~/.claude/skills/lean-canvas/
# then, inside Claude Code, either ask naturally:
# make a lean canvas for my tutoring app idea
# or run it by name:
# /lean-canvas

Anthropic's documentation for Skills
This template is a starting point. Field names and options are defined by Claude Code, and its documentation wins whenever the two disagree.
